1:00 pm-4:00 pm	Option 1: Scrabble / Passport Game Description: This is a road rally. Not a race. The fastest time does NOT win. Points will be earned by playing rounds of Scrabble. Sponsors: Sponsorship of the Road Rally is open to Vendor Manufacturers, Suppliers and/or Distributors. Vendors may partner with their Distributor, if desired. All participating Sponsors must (1) submit registered auto insurance in order to participate and (2) provide two representatives. One representative will drive the Sponsor Vehicle for their team (you provide) while the second representative will be located at the Sponsor Booth at a location along the Road Rally route. Sponsors may hand out corporate goodies at the event. Each Sponsor Booth may bring a table (and chair), a cooler for water/refreshments, and corporate goodies. Some stops already have a table and seating included. Sponsors may not bring trailers, product samples and/or serve any alcohol at their stop. Coordination will occur after registration has been completed and a stop location assigned. Participating drivers must comply with all traffic safety laws and NOT consume alcohol the day of the event until the Road Rally is finished. If either of these rules are broken, the team will be immediately disqualified. Teams: A total of 20 teams will participate in the Road Rally. Each team may have as many members as there are seats in the vehicle you drive. Each team member must wear a properly functioning seat belt. Game Rules: Sponsors and Participants will meet at the Waco Convention Center at 12:45 pm and break into teams. Teams will be randomly determined at that time and “saving” a seat on your team will not be allowed. Each team will be given an envelope containing a route map. (Route maps will NOT be released prior to this time.) This will be a shotgun start, so each team will start at a different stop along the Rally route. Once on the route, teams will navigate their way from their starting stop to all stops (in order), play one round of Scrabble at every stop, and return to the Waco Convention Center. Each Sponsor Booth will have a scrabble board and additional tiles. When a team arrives at the first stop, the Sponsor representative at that location will give them 7 tiles. The sponsor representative will play the first hand and then the team will play the second hand. Replacement tiles will not be drawn by the team until the next stop. At each stop, the Sponsor representative will play their hand first with the team playing second. Team scores will be kept by each Sponsor representative at their booth. All teams must return their map to race officials at the Waco Convention Center by 4:00 pm. Teams who do not return their map by the deadline will be disqualified. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. Race officials will aggregate scores once all teams have returned by the deadline and determine the winning team. The winning team will be announced at the Gala. A tie between two or more teams will be broken by the team who successfully answers a trivia question. There will be five trivia questions asked in order of most difficult to easiest and the team who correctly answers a question first will break the tie. Teams in the tie will answer the trivia questions at the Gala, and the winner will be determined at that time. Option 2: Waco ISD Advanced Manufacturing Academy Tour
