Message from the President
The True Client.
In a time when there is so much uncertainty in the world, our work is uniquely focused on created places for students to feel welcome and safe. While the everyday tasks involved in building these places can sometimes dominate our days, it is important we do not lose sight of the end goal – the children who will walk the halls, fill the classrooms, and become part of a community bigger than themselves. These are our True Clients.
These facilities foster an environment where diversity, equity and inclusion are embraced. Children are taught to care about one another and learn to respect each other’s feelings and choices. Common ground and connections will be made and found at lunch tables, in afterschool clubs, through music and the arts, and on athletic fields.
Building learning environments that encourage creativity, support educators and children, foster learning, and spur inspiration in our children’s pursuit of knowledge is our core mission.
I invite you to join us in New Bern to share ideas, inspire each other and continue to learn about new ways to create learning environments that are fun and engaging for our children, the True Clients.
