Concord, Cabarrus County's largest city, was established in 1796 near the center of the county to serve as the seat of local government. It began as a small hamlet and became the major cotton market for an area that included parts of several surrounding counties. Concord retains its handsome neighborhoods of fine Italianate, Queen Anne and Colonial Revival residences to the north and south of the central business district.
Concord Mills, the shopping entertainment destination of the Carolinas and most popular visitor attraction in North Carolina, features over 200 stores including manufacturer and retail outlets and interactive stores like Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Sun & Ski and Build-A-Bear. Other popular shopping destinations include Cannon Village with its Colonial-era ambiance, Carolina Mall and
Historic Downtown Concord.

Designed by Dan Maples, national known for creating some of the Carolina's top courses,
Rocky River is the premier public course in the Charlotte area. Managed by the Embassy Suites-Concord, Rocky River is a beautiful golf course that utilizes many of the existing features of the area to provide a great setting for golf. The routing flows through the existing contours of the land, and is bordered by the Rocky River and surrounding wetlands. An existing boulder that was too large to move during construction provides a memorable tee shot on hole #3.
Cheers!
Do you use the "trial-and-error" method for selecting wine? Do you find that often the most beautiful wine label has been placed on the most horrific tasting wine? To be honest, all wines have their following, so even though you may not have enjoyed a particular bottle, that doesn't mean others don't find it delicious. The only real difference between a good bottle and a bad bottle is your taste.
Take a sip at Cabo Winery to discover new wines before settling on your favorites.
