Association DEI Statement

The Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) is steadfast in its commitment to fostering a diverse and balanced presence within the professional spaces it serves. To uphold this commitment, A4LE pledges to:

• Exemplify Inclusion: We actively cultivate an inclusive environment that embraces individuals from all backgrounds and perspectives, thereby enriching the services and capabilities of our Association.
• Attract Diverse Professionals: A4LE is dedicated to pulling in professionals with diverse backgrounds, ensuring a breadth of perspectives that contribute to the excellence of our services.
• Promote Diversity Across Membership, Leadership, and Programs: We work to ensure diversity of profession, gender, and ethnicity throughout the membership, leadership, and programs of service.

DEI Champions Group

• A DEI Champions Group will be established as an online forum, open to all members of the Association.
• This group will serve as an exchange forum for ideas and maintain a dedicated open forum for all members.
• Champions will meet quarterly on zoom platform to receive updates and information from the DEI Committee.
