Southwest Region Scholarship: A4LE Academy Advanced Certificate Program Cohort 11
The Southwest Region is offering a scholarship opportunity that will financially assist a member with registration in the upcoming A4LE Academy Advanced Certificate program. Eligible candidates must be an A4LE member in good standing, actively working on school planning, design, and construction projects, and committed to earning your ALEP certification. All course work is completed virtually and all connections with instructors and students are made electronically. The region will offer $3,000 to an eligible candidate to offset the cost of the program. This scholarship is intended to only fund a portion of tuition. Applicants will be responsible to fund the remaining portion. The award winner will be expected to complete each module of the program with at least 80% to earn the certificate. In addition, the selected applicant will be required to report at an A4LE Board Meeting and/or present at a Southwest Regional Conference.
Funds will be applied as follows:
- First half of funds will be applied after completion of the first three modules.
- Remaining funds will be applied after completion of the program.
If the recipient does not achieve the required 80% after the completion of the first three modules, the recipient will forfeit the remaining balance of the award.

Southwest Region LearningSCAPES Scholarship Application
This scholarship provides financial assistance for one or more individuals residing in the Southwest Region states to attend LearningSCAPES, October 12-15, Chicago, IL. This important event brings together school planners, educators, and design and construction professionals from around the globe to collaborate on ideas and issues relating to the planning and design of contemporary schools.
Preference will be given to those who have not attended a Annual Conference in the recent past due to financial burden. The maximum amount of this scholarship is $1,500 and may be applied to registration, travel and/or hotel costs. Incidental expenses such as meals not covered by the conference fee, taxes, fees, tips, and ground transportation are not included in this scholarship.
