The Emerging Professionals committee has developed a plan for the 2023 “20 Under 40” Southern Region event. The main event will be on Friday, April 28th at the Irving Convention Center. It will consistent of ice breakers, a panelist discussion along with large group/ small break out group discussions. We plan to host a happy hour the night before (Thursday, April 27th) to kick off the event.
Designed exclusively for 20 members under the age of 40ish, we hope to bring together industry professionals, school district representatives, educators, architects, designer/engineers, and planners for a synergistic, collaborative, and fun gathering of our younger A4LE members.
It will provide a one-of-a-kind opportunity for the next generation of leaders within our industry to:
- engage with approximately 20 of their peers from around the Southern Region
- define and hone leadership skills and principles to carry forward in their continuing careers
- discuss opportunities and strategies to further the mission of A4LE
- enjoy Irving, TX and all the wonderful and vibrant things it has to offer
The end goal is that attendees will return to their work environments with new ideas and will be motivated to work towards a future of innovative and relevant learning environments both in their own projects and through continued involvement with the Association for Learning Environments.
