On behalf of the Southeast Region, I invite you to attend the
Annual Southeast Regional Conference this year at the Greenbrier in West Virginia. Principals, educators, facility planners, facility directors, contractors, architects and many other industry partners will gather at the Greenbrier to share best practices and jointly engage in lively discussions about ways to make it possible for all of our students to obtain the very best education possible in the best learning environments.
Our focus for the 2013's conference is twofold:

Provide great activities, networking, discussions and an environment for you to fully participate in this year's program addressing, "How the educational program of a facility should drive the architectural design."

Raise awareness of the Association and your own West Virginia Chapter.
This year the School Building Authority of WV joins us and collaboratively we have developed many activities that will make this year's conference a very special event. This conference has been designed to be educational and challenging while providing the resources & tools needed to allow you step out of your comfort zone.
The Southeast Region presents a special five minute video interview with Dr. Mark Manchin, Director, SBA-WV and offers a glimpse of what you can expect to see at the Greenbrier. Dr Manchin touches on some of the discussion topics for the conference. In the video, Dr Manchin explores how educational programs should be driving the architectural design, not the other way around. He makes it very clear that "this is not your grandparents' school anymore."
