2019 Scholarship – Southern Region Annual Conference

The Southern Region Foundation is a non-profit organization established to foster research and scholarly study regarding the impact of school facilities on student achievement. The Foundation acts as a proactive catalyst for promoting the development of quality learning environments in the Southern Region by funding scholarships and grants through the Otto D. Grove Jr. Fund.

This scholarship provides financial assistance for one or more individuals residing in the Southern Region states to attend the Southern Region Annual Conference, April 3-5, 2019 in San Antonio, TX. This important event brings together school planners, educators, and design and construction professionals from around the world to collaborate on ideas and issues relating to the planning and design of contemporary schools.

Preference will be given to those who have not attended a Southern Region Annual Conference in the recent past due to financial burden. Incidental expenses such as meals not covered by the conference fee and ground transportation are not included in this scholarship.

The Foundation Advisory Council will take up and consider all received applications and make a recommendation to the Southern Region Board of Directors for a final award. Award recipient will be notified on or about February 24, 2019.
