Emerging Professionals

Central Texas Chapter

Emerging Professionals are members and potential members who are within ten years of developing their career in educational facility planning. Emerging Professionals include:
  • Recent graduates
  • Newly licensed architects, interior designers, engineers
  • Alternative career path professionals
  • Contractors
  • Industry partners
Through social, educational, and community events this program provides additional value to our emerging professional members and brings them together to build relationships as the young leaders and future leaders of the organization and industry.

Mentorship Program

January 2020 Meeting Membership is a must for professional growth. With the Central Texas Emerging Professionals' mentorship program, learn together with a cross-disciplinary cohort of your peers and gain valuable insights to help progress your career in the field. Our program includes a monthly small group session and industry guest mentors.

Fortlandia Tour

Fortlandia Tour at the Wildflower Center

Join the Emerging Professionals group for a special outdoor learning discussion with OLE! Texas at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center! Engage in a safe and socially distant tour of the Wildflower Center while we discuss what makes a great outdoor learning environment. Our tour will have also include a discussion of the Fortlandia installation currently on display at the Wildflower Center.
