Association for Learning Environments Welcomes the Kansas City Chapter

WASHINGTON, DC – The Midwest Great Lakes (MWGL) Region rings in the new year with the announcement of its newest chapter – Kansas City. The new chapter incorporates the states of Kansas and Missouri. To commemorate the event, a Welcome to the Chapter celebration will take place on January 13, 2016 at DLR Group in Overland Park.

Taking the helm as president, Brad Kiehl, DLR Group, introduced his new board:
    Kyle Gorrell, President Elect, Lee's Summit R-7 School District
    Michelle Chavey, Secretary Treasurer, Hollis + Miller Architects
    Dr. Kari Monsees, At-Large Member, Raymore-Peculiar School District
    Dave Hill, At-Large Member, Blue Valley School District (USD 229)
    Robert Burkey, At-Large Member, Independence School District
    Mark Graviett, At-Large Member, North Kansas City School District

We will be hearing exciting news from the Kansas City Chapter as they have big plans in store for 2016.

The Association for Learning Environments is the only professional organization whose primary purpose is improving the places where children learn.
