2022 ALEP Application

The Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) is the professional designation of the Association and signifies excellence in the industry. It is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and identify those in the educational environment industry who demonstrate the core competencies essential to the practice of planning, designing, equipping and maintaining educational environments.




Applicants must submit a dossier demonstrating his/her work in relationship to the core competencies, three letters of recommendation and documentation of 100 hours of continuing education within the last five years.   Interviews will take place in the Spring of 2022 (March-May) and the Fall of 2022 (September-November). 

Application and all supporting materials must be received by the following deadlines:

March 4, 2022 for Spring Interviews

July 8, 2022 for Fall Interviews
