Join us for a tour of the new Gretna East High School and then happy hour at the Good Life Bar and Grill.

Learning Objectives:
- Understand how all the stakeholders from community, administration, teachers, and students were
engaged in the planning/design process to get the necessary input.
- Learn how the choice of building materials contribute to durability and flexibility of the building.
- Understand the impact specialty disciplines, for example acoustics, audio-visual, theatrical, and
experiential graphic design, impacted in the design of the project.
- Learn about how the building was designed to accommodate additional students before the need for a
third high school in the district.
